As an outhouse, these plans can be used for a conventional pit toilet outhouse, or used with a composting toilet, or a traditional plumbed toilet with a water supply.

The overhang can house a sink and there is also room for an outdoor shower. (A good off grid model of water heater is mentioned in the plans.)

Or you can use this building as a shed or a playhouse. Put a window in for some extra ambiance and sun light. The overhang area can be used for storage, or it can cover a potting bench and a sink.

--This building can be a DIY build (we did it in two weekends) or the plans can be handed off to a professional builder.

--This was designed to be as efficient as possible. Walls can be done with a single layer of siding, or you can use full sheets of plywood siding, without cutting any of the sheets to width. Plans for both styles are included.

--The enclosed area is 32 square feet (4 by 8 feet) and the total footprint is 100 square feet (10 by 10 feet.)

--Included in this package are detailed digital 3D plans, contractor ready blueprints, a complete materials list, and nearly 200 photos and videos of the building process, along with notes on the exact brands of fixtures, stain, etc, and how best to put it all together — all the information needed to build your own sleek accessory structure.

--These plans are both contractor-ready blueprints and a 3D Sketchup model. Sketchup is a CAD program that allows you to construct in 3D, explore the build, examine all the details of joinery and framing, modify the design, and hide layers. Measurements can be taken and screenshots can be printed. Even if you don’t intend to build things exactly shown this is a great starting point to adapt it to your needs. Sketchup is available in paid premium versions (with free trials), and as an always-free web app, so there is no added cost to using this model.

--The approximate cost of materials is about $1,800.
