The Land chronicles ten years of learning, playing, building (and rebuilding) on ten acres in the Northern California redwoods. The essays and 200+ photos and illustrations span the decade-long arc of initial desires and our hunt for property and projects, through the initial building stages and hurdles, to cabin building and the wildfire that burned it all down, and the rebuilding that followed.
