Outdoor Storage Shed Plans

Printable PDF plans for our outdoor storage shed - a dynamic space that can be used as an equipment shed, lumber shed, potting shed, outdoor kitchen, workshop, firewood shed, livestock shelter, dog kennel, or a carport for your fleet of golf carts. 

The roof uses uncut corrugated panels and the posts, beams, rafters, and boards are all optimized to use material as efficiently as possible and to be assembled as easily as possible. This is a simple, affordable build.  

Pictured storage brackets are optional and are included in the plans. These supports can hold lumber, shelves, or equipment, on both the inside and outside of the shed. 

SIZE: 176 sq ft. Footprint is 8x22 ft, but the modular design can be scaled to 8x8 ft, or 8x15 ft, or larger. Roof is 12x24 ft. 

COST: $2500 USD. Material choices and local pricing will vary the total build cost.

–Sketchup is a program that allows you to construct in 3D, examine all the construction details, modify the design, hide layers, take measurements, and explore the build. If you intend to modify these plans it’s a fantastic tool to make those changes and to familiarize yourself with the construction process digitally before doing it for real. Sketchup is available as an always-free web app, so there is no added cost.
